The bestselling author of God in the Midst of Change makes the strongest case yet for the kind of church that was and has been, laying bare its historical, theological, and spiritual roots. Diarmuid holds high the millions on the margins of the church who honour Jesus but feel they don’t fit in because of an alternative vision or minority status resulting from race, ethnicity, social standing or sexual orientation. Inclusivity offers a faith dynamic characterized by discipleship with an adult Jesus in the service of an adult God.

Chapter titles include:-
– All the Talk about Chosen People
– Compassion shatters Boundaries
– Subversive Companionship
– Subverting Greek Rationality
– The Cross: An option for Inclusive Solidarity
– The Women who threatened Patriarchy
– Being an Inclusive Christian Today
