We Can Do No Other:
Human Dignity, Freedom of Conscience and Religious Liberty in Vatican II.

On Thursday 23rd May next Ladislas Orsy, S.J. gave the Second Michael Hurley Memorial Lecture at the Jesuit Conference Centre, Milltown Park.

The talk focussed on the far reaching theological and spiritual significance of the Declaration on Religious Freedom and on the fresh vision of the “humble church” that it contains.

Professor Ladislas Orsy, distinguished Canon Lawyer and theologian, now at Georgetown University, is author of numerous books and articles. The main intent of his writing is to keep the spirit of The Second Vatican Council alive.
