Adult Faith Development for the 21st Century
Diarmuid O’Murchú
ZOOM RECORDING from Thursday, June 13th
An adult Christian faith is developed by networking with other adults on the questions that beset us – not by unquestioning retention of a childhood faith and complete reliance on higher authority.
In the Church, there is a need to adjust to the disappearance of clergy and the growing social preponderance of lay elders by developing ‘elder wisdom’ in a networked culture.
Adjusting to climate change through discussion of Laudato Si as a foundational document will be one obvious focus of this adult faith development.
These were the themes of the ZOOM presentation by Diarmuid O’Murchú to ACI members and supporters on Thursday, June 13th.
